Master of None or Master of One?
It's as simple as dropping the "N."
For the Jack (and Jill) of All Trades in all of Us.
As a fellow “Jack,” it is heartening to read Tim Ferris’ validation for what comes naturally to me — and to so many others. [The Top 5 Reasons to Be a Jack of All Trades]. For a lifetime learner interested in nearly everything, there’s no longer the necessity of mastering anything.
As the world moves at the speed of thought,
yesterday’s mastery is today’s obsolescence,
one must become a MASTER LEARNER above all else.
~ Truth Serum
As master learners, it is then our role to share our passion for learning as enthusiastic teachers.
In which subject(s) do you feel you’ve mastered a method, a passion, a storehouse of learning enough to share your learner’s passion?
For it is passionate learning that inspires others and imbues them with their own fervor for exploration, investigation, and personal betterment.
So master the art of learning: Spirited, enthusiastic, triumphant. Tireless, curious, ceaseless. Prolific, abundant, generous.
Because learning is the ONE thing we can aspire to master.
And that’s mastery enough for any Jack.
