Decrease Your Mortality
Amplify your morals. Don’t degrade them.
How do we succeed on purpose? Certainly not by demoralizing others.
By uplifting others we can’t help but be uplifted ourselves. A rising tide raises all ships in the same way one cheers oneself up by cheering someone else up.
So don’t demoralize. Re-moralize.
Which is another way of saying not to “take morals away” but to “reinforce morals” or “renew morality.” And isn’t re-moralizing a positive and aspirational act? When we re-moralize we reinstate a moral direction, re-assert moral values, reinforce the morals of encouragement, positivity and laughter.
When we de-moralize someone we are subtracting those values, discouraging them from holding them as part of their world view. And then they venture into life with less morality and a lower mentality. (Less morality = lower mentality = decreased vitality = increased mortality.)
How does that benefit them, you, or the world?
Don’t demoralize. Re-moralize.
Raise others up. Reinforce and encourage their moral fortitude so that they can bring a greater morality to their endeavors. In this way, the world — and you along with it — will be uplifted by a rising tide.
